FROM THE DESK OF FATHER PROVINCIAL Fr. Mario Lorenzana was given the permission by his provincial superior, Fr. Moacir Balen, to spend some time outside the community to continue his experience in a contemplative community. He will be leaving the parish on the 6th of June, 2016

SENORS’ MASS this Monday, May 2nd at 1:30pm followed by a fellowship in Scalabrini Hall.

MOTHER’S DAY The Youth of our parish will be selling roses for Mother’s Day. Please support their activities. Four of our Youth will be going to the World Youth Day in Poland in August 2016.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY will be collecting gently used clothing, shoes, linens and household goods. There will be a truck in our parking lot for Bundle Sunday on May 14th and 15th

ST. CATHERINE OF SIENA PARISH CELEBRATIONS On Friday, Saturday and Sunday of May 27, 28 and 29, 2016, we will be combining the celebration of the Holy Body and Blood of Christ, St. Catherine of Siena, Blessed Bishop Scalabrini and the 60th Anniversary of the Parish. The Solemn Sunday Mass will be celebrated at 1pm followed by procession and entertainment. Bishop John Boissonneau will be with us during the procession. There will be no Mass at 4:30pm.

SHARE LIFE The next Collection will be May 29th. Please give generously. Working wonders for the elderly. Last year ShareLife-supported agencies provided outreach programs that met the needs of over 2,200 seniors. This year, with your support, we can do more to help the elderly within our archdiocese. Our Parish goal for 2016 is $39,000. To date we have collected $27,050.00. Thank you for your support.
