AUGUST: Dedicated to our Spiritual Renewal.

The last month of the summer, should be dedicated to refreshing and renewing our spiritual life, in preparation for another school year, which is coming soon.

Here few of the events happening in our parish.

1 – SUMMER CAMP 2 – After a great success of the first week of camp, we now celebrated the second week. Thanks to Andre’ and to the Volunteers.

2 – INNER HEALING RETREAT. – This weekend is very special in our parish; a real gift of the Holy Spirit for so many who are taking advantage. Thanks to the English Charismatic Prayer Group.

3 – GENERAL ASSEMBLY of all the Leaders of ministries & communities – August 10, from 2:00pm to 5:00pm,  before mass. We will review our PASTORAL PLAN.

4 – FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION – August 15, after the 7:00pm mass we will have a short procession in the parking Lot with the statue of the Blessed Mother.

5 – PEREGRINACION HISPANA – On August 17, all the Latino Communities of the Archdiocese will celebrate at Marylake. We will participate.

6 – The SENIORS will organize a DAY OUT as conclusion of the summer vacation.

But the most important thing of all: RELAX.

About Fr. Walter

Father Walter Tonelotto was born in Italy in 1947 and entered the Scalabrini Seminary at an early age. At 20 he was sent by his superiors to study Theology at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Dunwoodie, New York and then to the Toronto School of Theology. He holds a Master in Divinity from St. Paul’s University in Ottawa and a Master in Moral Theology from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University, New York City.
