Last week the 165 children preparing for first Communion have started their classes. They are all excited, and we even more excited. As last year, the parents of these children are invited to a SPIRITUAL RENEWAL for themselves and their families. It is very encouraging to see how many parents take advantage of this program, which runs at the same time when their children are in class; instead of going home and then come back to pick them up, they remain in Zanon Hall with a cup of coffee and with a conference geared especially for their own spiritual formation. First Communion is not an event just for the children, but it is a celebration of the whole family. Parents can come at any time and leave at any time.
