Dear Friends and Parishioners, HAPPY NEW YEAR.

I am happy to start this new year together with you. Our Parish Community has a lot f people and a lot f potential for the NEW EVANGELIZATION. First of all we will organize Spiritual Programs for the whole community. We also will support the various groups already in place, but must f all we will try to reach out to those who are outside the sheepfold.

Do you know that more than 60% of the baptized people do not come to church? What are we doing for them? They are our brothers in the faith; they are the majority of our parish. What can we do for them? We need a selected group of people who are going to face this problem. Maybe we can start small “family churches” where people can gather and grow in faith. The real place where faith grows (or not grows) is the family. So let’s see what we can do to start hundreds of “family churches” and try to connect to the parish church.

There are a few areas, which we need to work on: The Youth, Preparation for Marriage, the Liturgy and the Immigrants. I would like to see people coming up with new ideas, new projects. Please come! We are a family and we work for the good of everybody.

So on behalf of the fathers and Deacon Roy I wish you a happy and holy NEW YEAR.
