40 DAYS FOR LIFE

AGAIN THIS YEAR our parish participates in the 40 DAYS FOR LIFE. Even though in the middle of this Pandemic, we do not want to miss this opportunity to renew and witness our belief that LIFE IS SACRED.

On Wednesday, September 23, our parish is called to witness our commitment to LIFE, by saying the ROSARY in front of the CLINIC on Queensway and Confederation.

We need volunteers who will spend one hour of prayer in the sidewalk opposite to the clinic.

PLEASE SIGN UP IN THE PAPERS AT THE ENTRANCE OF THE CHURCH.

FIRST STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY for the Archdiocese of Toronto.

Cardinal Collins is instituting an annual stewardship Sunday for the whole archdiocese.

Many are those who offer TIME AND TALENT at the service of the Parish community. As Christians we all are called to STEWARDSHIP. To offer time and talent for the kingdom of God is a rediscovery of our own baptismal vocation. For more information, we invite you to watch the videos available in the web site of the Archdiocese: www.archtoronto.org/stewarship. Immagine if all our parishioners would start giving their TIME and TALENT for the Kingdom of God in our parish. Not only our parish but all of Mississauga and then all of Canada will be transformed. That is the NEW EVANGELIZATION. Would you like to be a part of this adventure?

THE WORLD DAY OF MIGRANTS AND REFUGEES.

EVERY YEAR the Universal Church celebrates the great contributions that immigrants bring to the Church and Society. We have to discover that Migrants and Refugees bring within themselves a whole treasure of values and experiences. It is up to us to welcome them and enrich our lives with their lives and their values.

Next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the evening mass at 7:00pm we will have special celebrations to reflect on the contributions of culture and faith of migrants and refugees. Our parish is lucky to have so many different cultures and nationalities. The other day I asked people in church to raise their hand if they were born in Canada. Our of 75 sitting in the pews, ONLY 3 people raised their hand. INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL. WE HAVE SO MANY TREASURE TO DISCOVER AND ENJOY.

All are invited on Thursday and Friday at 7:00pm and on Saturday at 6:00pm when we will celebrate a multilingual celebration for all migrants.

COME AND DISCOVER THE GREATNESS OF SO MANY CULTURES IN OUR PARISH.
