OUR YOUTH MINISTER

I am extremely happy to present to you our new YOUTH MINISTER, Chai Bonoan. The search committee has received 6 applications and have decided to go with Chai. A young lady with great experience in Youth Ministry. She has worked both in St. Patrick’s and Merciful Redeemer part time and now she is ready to rebuild our Youth group in our parish.

First ministry will be with the ALTAR SERVERS. She will meet with all of them and then she will start planning formation and activities with all of them. Second challenge will be to start the program EDGE for 6-7-8 graders. Our 4 schools will be visited by Chai and with the various principals we will plan how to launch such an important program. Further down the road we will also start thinking about High School Students and finally the Young Adults.

Finally we have a person who will dedicate her full time and talents for our youth. I am sure that great things will happen for our children and youth. I am asking the cooperation of a support group to work with Chai and especially the parents of our youth so that such a program may be able to engage our young people (and they are many) in the life of the parish. Chai, be sure of our prayers and support.
