UPDATE on the Lockdown.

We are on the second week of lockdown and the situation is not changing much. We try to cope as much as possible.

We remind you of the following: You may join us at mass (8:00am – 7:00pm), prayers and Rosary (7:00am – 6:30pm), by STREAMING at www.stcatherine.ca/mass

CHURCH OPEN from 9:00am till 6:00pm daily. Confession and Communion upon request.

SATURDAY NIGHT special mass for Our Lady of Guadalupe at 8:00pm.

CONFIRMATION 2021 – Our Youth Ministry is preparing for the upcoming 2021 Confirmation preparation program. You may start the REGISTRTATION PROCESS by going to  https://www.stcatherineyouth.ca/ 

And follow instructions. The program is organized by our Youth Minister, Andre Tyson. For any other info please get in touch with him.

LANTERNS, a Filipino Tradition. One young man has already brought his beautiful lantern, which is exposed in church. We invite other Filipino Families to be creative to build other Lanterns, which we will display in church.  

MARIAN CONSECRATION – Today, December 8 (Immaculate Conception) and Saturday, December 12 (O.L. of Guadalupe) our parish has been blessed with many people making their own consecration to Jesus through Mary. This will gain many blessing for all the members of our parish.

YEAR OF ST. JOSEPH – Pope Francis has just declared 2021 the year of St. Joseph. This is a great opportunity to challenge our “men” of the parish to reclaim their role of shepherds of their family, especially in reference to their faith. We will be planning for the future.

About Fr. Walter

Father Walter Tonelotto was born in Italy in 1947 and entered the Scalabrini Seminary at an early age. At 20 he was sent by his superiors to study Theology at St. Joseph’s Seminary in Dunwoodie, New York and then to the Toronto School of Theology. He holds a Master in Divinity from St. Paul’s University in Ottawa and a Master in Moral Theology from Union Theological Seminary at Columbia University, New York City.
